Australian composer and sound engineer Ben Frost produces an extreme kind of music that is minimalist in spirit and post-punk in its movements, with metal fundamental harmonics. Powerful, wild and sophisticated, this musician of eclectic partnerships (he has worked with musicians Brian Eno and Tim Hecker, and choreographer Wayne McGregor) promises us an anthology of live performances to visuals by Marcel Weber, aka MFO. Around him, artists proposed by the SHAPE network will provide an evening that is complex, primal, intuitive, cerebral, visual and sensorial in turn: live melodic noise with post-rock accents by Gas of Latvia & Katrina Neiburga (Lithuania), and Orson Hentschel, a German composer inspired by classical minimalist music, combining music and light in a single compositional flow.
