LILITH.AEON is a hybrid, interactive, walking experience that combines augmented reality, dance and artificial intelligence. The experience of mourning and the true story of the youngest person ever to be cryogenically frozen served as inspiration for the performance, which questions the future of humanity in the age of transhumanism and AI.

On the walls of a huge LED cube appear the lifecycles of Lilith, a virtual soul caught in limbo, a poetic digital reincarnation suspended between death and a future reawakening. The audience is integral to Lilith’s journey – their movements set in motion a performative ballet of a whole new genre.

This experience for the senses, with an evolving narrative generated in real time, shines a light on our new relationship with technology and the potential to transcend biological mortality.

-> While you’re at the MAC, go see Alice Gozlan and Zacharie Lorent’s play Chroniques d’une exploratrice, at 8:00 pm on Thursday and Friday and at 6:00 pm on Saturday.
