⚠ C’LE CHANTIER event is a free format for public rehearsal openings. It offers the opportunity to discover stages of work by artists in residence and to meet them.
A hybrid performance combining participatory theater and connected objects, Le Motel des destins croisés – The Motel Where Destinies Meet – is a hilarious dive into the subconscious of Didier, who is going through a break-up.
Eva Carmen Jarriau has created a new portal into dreamlife. A phone called “the key to dreams” is passed among the audience, giving everyone the chance to provide Didier with animated, visual, and audio instructions to help him overcome his fears and explore his desires.
This journey into the subconscious uses technology to give the audience a succession of different roles: actor, author, director, and spectator. The play becomes a space for communal healing, conducive to more conscious living. The artist will test out the system during this preview performance.
