Louise Habera and Océane Perrin

Tuesday 6 January 2026 from 12h30 to 13h15
La Seine Musicale - Le SeineLab
Île Seguin
92100 Boulogne-Billancourt

The musical performance L’Inframonde – the underworld – probes organic life beneath the earth’s surface. Created as a counterpart to Phygital Studio’s immersive installation Plant Being, the piece allows us to see and hear the bioenergetic life of plants and how they exist in the world.

A poetic text and a sound work offer a sensory translation of the plant world, from the roots to the leaves. The performance lends a voice to a plant, whose organic life is conveyed in words, rhythms and vibrations.

Louise Habera and Océane Perrin continue to develop an original, ecocritical practice focused on vegetal and fungal beings. Their work explores contemporary ecosystems and vital exchanges between these lifeforms, at the intersection of science, art, and the senses.

Held as part of Impromptus du Mardi de la Seine Musicale

Phygital Studio’s Plant Being installation can be seen in the exhibition Illusions Rediscovered at CENTQUATRE-PARIS from 11 October 2025 to 11 January 2026, as well as in a one-off installation at La Seine Musicale from 15 October 2025 to 17 January 2026.
