10 am – 5 pm: Lou Masduraud – Infra Quark & Systm soupir

A telephone performance Infra Quark by Lou Masduraud as part of the Systm soupir exhibition. The artist combines sculpture, installation and performance in a formal vocabulary that borrows from both the grotesque and the poetic. The artist creates phantasmagorical alternate worlds that diverge from dominant realities, where one can experience this transfiguration of daily life as an initial form of emancipation.

For her exhibition Systm soupir, curated by Thomas Conchou, Masduraud proposes a speculative takeover of the infrastructure essential to collective life. She invites everyone to grant themselves the right, privilege and pleasure to embrace fundamental political questions, by creating hidden, underground places that lie at the margins of reality…

5 pm: Thomas Conchou Lecture on the book A Love of UIQ

Guattari worked on the screenplay for A Love of UIQ, initially with the American filmmaker Robert Kramer, from 1980 to 1987; but the film was never made… The story is set in a vast disused industrial building, occupied by a community of ‘moic subjectivities’ living on the margins of society.
